Reece_DeRouen Posted January 23, 2018 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Hello, Myself and 4 colleagues are starting an LLC and are crowdfunding, just between the 5 of us, enough money to purchase our first residential development venture. I am hoping that the HAIF community would be gracious enough to provide us with any lessons learned/advice in hopes to avoid any major pitfalls as we begin our new business venture. Any and all advice that you can provide would be more than appreciated. We are hoping to start out small with a townhome development with no more than 4-8 townhomes. Our goal is to put everything we make into the next project and then the next project. We are determined to not just get in and get out, but rather make this a real estate investment and asset management company that we could become a legacy within our families. Our long term goal would be to hold on to choice assets and sell off once more opportunities presents itself. Thanks. Yes, we will definitely need to hire an architect, only we are looking to build a row of 4-6 townhomes.
