Blue Dogs Posted June 16, 2017 Share Posted June 16, 2017 I know that the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office (de-facto Taiwanese Embassy) in Houston, TX has seen numerous visits such as the recent meetings between Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen, who met with TX Governor Greg Abbott [R] & United States Senator Ted Cruz [R-TX] to name a few US politicos, who met with Tsai & her delegation. Plus, there was then-Taiwanese President Chen Shui-bien, who was in Houston around 15 years ago. I know there are numerous organizations such as the Taiwanese Heritage Society of Houston, Taiwanese Association of America (Houston Chapter), Houston Taiwan Community Center, etc., but does anyone know if there any Taiwanese American restaurants, community organizations in Houston ?
