Mods @Urbannizer @Triton and others, this isn't in the East End at all. It's in the heart of Third Ward in the south central Houston. It is not a part of the East End, Museum District or Medical Center. Please move to Other Houston Neighborhoods thread here: http://www.houstonarchitecture.com/haif/forum/34-other-houston-neighborhoods/

Done.

they never were ready for that move as they don't own the land needed for that restaurant size yet. They wanted to go to Scott and Hadley years before but they were going to stay in the original church expansion plans until things changed.

The building they're in now they already owned as storage.

Yeah so whatever happened with this? I haven’t been in that area in a while.

nothing...there's one house on the future property that is still occupied and holding out. Last I heard they need more land access due to the library.

Just by the rendering they weren't ready to move but the church was ready to expand and they unfortunately were in the way when plans changed.
