100 most congested roads in Texas

So, I'm shocked to see that the Katy freeway, after being rebuilt maybe 10 years ago holds 2 of the top 10 most congested in Texas.

 

Can we look forward to 10 years of construction on 45/288/59/10 through downtown just to buy us 10 years of lower congestion before it's as bad as it is now?

and from 610 to 45 I-10 ranks in the top 15 most congested. 

 

Texas, and Houston need to consider a plan to create alternative forms of transit. This is getting ridiculous we can no longer widen our way out of traffic.
