infinite_jim
Weird pocket park will be weird. Ever hang out at Glover park, yeah me neither. But Wiley, Bethel, Webster, and Midtown/Bagby parks are cool. Could spur adjacent development but that could make or break this spot. Are there too many little parks in 4th ward, is TInsley not enough? I don't think it has to do with Tinsley park not being enough for the area as much as a park of this size creates a plaza type environment for the neighborhood. infinite_jim
A plaza would suggest an even sided accessible space, this is a linear space aligned along W. Dallas St. with not much in site depth from the street. Plaza does not mean what you think it does. This is a pocket park, would prefer a sculpture garden, IMHO. "pocket park" "plaza" "grass with trees" whatever you want to call it, it's solid infill for the area
