Sooner&RiceGrad
I remember Allison... that was a royal pain in the arse. TC Jester was 10-15 feet underwater. I always wondered what people were thinking when they designed streets like TC Jester and Braeswood. 100% flood-proof, right?
pineda
This newcomer to the Texas Gulf Coast region just moved into a house in The Woodlands area. He said he was worried after hearing horror stories about Katrina and Alicia, and so, he taped every window and door window in his house with masking tape. I just wonder how many rolls and how much time it took... It's a little hard to tell in this photo, but those are not curtains or blinds in the windows, it's tape! dbigtex56
It's a little hard to tell in this photo, but those are not curtains or blinds in the windows, it's tape! It's really kind of pretty. Maybe he should consider leaving it up. He might come to the same conclusion when it comes time to remove it.
Jeebus
It's really kind of pretty. Maybe he should consider leaving it up. He might come to the same conclusion when it comes time to remove it.Especially after he pulls back that first piece and sees that the glue is still on the window!
