GREATER HOUSTON (Covering Katy) – The Federal Bureau of Investigation is searching for a man they believe to be armed and dangerous, who could be in the Greater Houston Area.

Mario L. Lambert is facing charges for armed robberies in Tennessee and Kansas, and was last seen on March 2 in Rockford, Illinois. He has been known to travel to Chicago, Illinois; Beloit, Wisconsin; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Atlanta, Georgia; and Houston, Texas.

He was last seen driving a 2002 tan Chevy Tahoe, with Illinois license plate ZZ37991.

He is described as a 33-year-old black man, 5 feet 8 inches, 220 pounds, black hair and eyes, and the name Lambert tattooed on his back and Chinese letters on his chest. His nickname is “Pop-up.”

A reward of up to $20,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest of Lambert. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the nearest law enforcement agency, the Knoxville FBI office at 865-544-0751 or the Chicago FBI office at 312-421-6700.

The FBI is urging anyone who comes into contact with Lambert to use caution as he is considered armed and dangerous.
