RB Department Store At 1225 Broadway St.

Would anybody happen to have the address of the old RB Department Store?  It was located somewhere in the Eastside area.  Possibly on Harrisburg or Wayside.

 

I remember the store being open between 1963 and 1970.

From my 1966 Directory, Looks like it was at 1225 Broadway in Harrisburg.

There was also another location at 345 w. 19th in the Heights

Thanks.  Looking at street maps, it looks like it has been torn down and now an Exxon is there.  I never would have found it.

I went to Milby High School just down the street from the RB Department Store on Broadway. If I'm not mistaken it was demolished when the ill-fated 225 extension was constructed.

So it just goes to figure that a gas station replaced it. Location, location location.

 

At least it was replaced by a business that was relevant and applicable to the location.
