pineda Posted September 1, 2005 Share Posted September 1, 2005 Interfaith of The Woodlands, 4242 Woodrush Drive, 8 a.m - 5 p.m, Monday - Friday, can accept the following urgently needed non-perishable items for Hurricane Katrina victims: Canned or packaged ready-to-eat foods containing protein (Spaghetti-Os, Ravioli Canned meats including tuna, SPAM, chicken, vienna sausages Peanut butter in plastic jars Canned vegetables, such as green beans and mixed vegetables Canned fruit Boxed or canned fruit juice Boxed cereal in large and small sizes Large and travel sized shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant Large and travel sized toothpaste and toothbrushes All sizes of diapers, particularly needed are sizes 4, 5 & 6 Baby formula and wipes Gas cards (used for refugees who need to get to a shelter) Phone cards (Sam's 3" a minute cards are recommended) Food cards (Wal-Mart Gift Cards are recommended) Interfaith has a donation bin just inside their entrance, however, boxed donation items are helpful as well. Interfaith also recommends stores such as Big Lots or Dollar Stores for purchasing bulk items to donate. At this time, NO CLOTHING can be accepted.
