Architect Hy Applebaum and his wife will be at Sunday's event to discuss the house and his career as well as Houston's architectural scene. Hy A. Applebaum, AIA is a 1956 graduate of the Rice University School of Architecture and principal of the Houston-based R&A Architects since its founding in 1963. The house of his design, expansive in plan and richly detailed, has been occupied and wonderfully maintained by Mr. and Mrs. Applebaum and family since its construction.
