Hoppin'...denied!

I had an informal opposition on this one raising issues the FCC doesn't want to deal with.  See  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5fT1CTu9fUAVlZ1Z01ock5HM0U/view?usp=sharing It is my opinion they found other grounds to dismiss it in order to, once again, avoid having to publicly address the Don Werlinger saga.  I haven't been able to confirm it, but a very credible source in the radio industry told me there is a warrant for his arrest.

Here's why it was dismissed. Look at the letter from April 15th. http://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/cdbs/pubacc/prod/corrp_list.pl?Application_id=1721679&File_Prefix=BMPFT&App_Arn=20160211ACB&Facility_id=148484

Lopez also has something to do with the supposed 1000 watt translator in Corpus Christi. This link takes you to the streamline board where it was talked about, so be warned. LOL

How the hell can it be a cross service translator when the primary AM is well to the north and doesn't even cover well where the FM signal will be? I didn't think FM translator for AM stations could be outside the five millivolt/mtr coverage area

If that is true -- which I doubt -- nobody is making any effort to find him and arrest him. I've seen him living openly and publicly up here in east Texas where he has a lot of friends. He doesn't behave like someone with a warrant on his head. I won't say where this is though. You'll have to figure that out for yourself.
