Every year I want to go to all the events and have fun, but we usually only go to one parade, if that. I guess that's what I get from growing up in town, and taking it all for granted. Like the Alamo and River Walk, Fiesta gets boring after you've done it a few times. LOL I think the main turnoff is the insane crowd that goes downtown at peak times. We have several festivals over here, but nothing on the scale of SA's Fiesta Week. I couldn't even imagine Houston shutting down huge areas of downtown streets during the entire week. It starts April 15th, for any Houstonians wanting to make the 181 mile trek west to experience it. I'm coming just for the weekend, you know.
