MY LINK Library Card

This year, Houston Public Library (HPL) debuted the MY LINK Library Card and set a goal of registering over 1,000,000 Houstonians by the end of 2015. The new MY LINK creates unprecedented access to the HPL system for users, including benefits such as: access to over 6 million books, e-books, DVDs, magazines, and research materials within the HPL collection; access to over 130 electronic resources which include streaming music, videos, audiobooks, and databases; access to books and materials at other national and international libraries through the InterLibrary Loan program; free wi-fi and computer access at all HPL locations; laptop and tablet checkout; and more. The MY LINK card is free to all Texas residents and interested citizens may register online or apply in person at any HPL location
