trymahjong Posted October 13, 2014 Share Posted October 13, 2014 from Cohen enewsletter Council authorized the Houston Parks and Recreation Department (HPARD) to purchase a 12,500 square foot lot at 924 W. Dallas St, located in District C’s historic Freedmen’s Town neighborhood. To obtain this land, HPARD utilized the Parks & Recreation Dedication Fund, into which developers must contribute in order to help mitigate the loss of greenspace to development in our city.
