nativehoustonion
According to Swamplot two apartments complexes were ask to vacate right across the street from the Huntingdon. Maybe Mr. Linn brought the properties.

Dakota79
i hope this is true! heh..I know some of those neighbors and will ask around. It is adjacent to Avalon and I'm sure they would scream if this were to be true. I highly doubt it, although I could see more "Chateau 10's" or that type of building going there. nativehoustonion
I have talk to residents in the neighborhood some are saying a highrise , others are saying 3-4 floor homes. I have not had time to find out who bought the two apartment complexes but it is a big foot print. When I find more information I will post it. nativehoustonion
I have new information who purchased the two apartment complexes next to the Huntingdon. The company is from Orinda, CA and the name is Houston Mimosa Ln. LP. It is a big footprint.
nativehoustonion
I found it from the Harris County appraisal website. 2115 Argonne and 2415 Mimosa.
nate
I found it from the Harris County appraisal website. 2115 Argonne and 2415 Mimosa. Per the tax records, HOUSTON MIMOSA LANE APTS I LMTD PARTNSHP has owned 2415 Mimosa since 12/22/1998 and HOUSTON MIMOSA LANE APTS LP has owned 2115 Argonne since 2/28/2006. If those two properties changed hands recently, it is either not reflected in the tax records yet or it was a purchase of equity rather than assets. nativehoustonion
Thanks for the info but they have to move out in December. They likely did not update it.
Montrose1100
If they did build a high-rise it would block a majority of priceless western views from the Huntingdon. swtsig if you didn't hear about a high-rise, what did you hear? MF low/mid-rise?
nate
Thanks for the info but they have to move out in December. They likely did not update it. No deeds filed out of Houston Mimosa: http://www.cclerk.hctx.net/applications/websearch/RP.aspx Could be under contract and there is an covenant to terminate all the leases when the earnest money goes hard... nativehoustonion
Hello, Our neighbor from Mimosa told us today that the owner of the two complexes in question does indeed live in California and has been the owner for some time. The neighbor said the owner owned the black complex first and more recently purchased the white complex. The neighbor does not believe that either has been sold. But the tenants who are being asked to move out told our neighbor that the owner himself wants to develop the property. The neighbor keeps hearing a gated community of patio homes or townhomes.
