Mike McGuff of mikemcguff.com reported that the Houston ABC O&O station has tapped Wendy Granato as the station's new top boss. Making her the station's first female news director in Ch. 13's history. If her name sounds familiar, her husband is longtime sports radio talker John Granato (now 1560 KGOW; formerly 610 KILT, Houston Texans sideline reporter and KNWS 51).
