What this have to do with Woodlands and Conroe?

Sorry if lumping a story about Huntsville into the category specifically reserved for Woodlands and Conroe was either confusing or upsetting to you, but hey, what a great story about Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Tx.! :)

"Sam Houston State University is ready to implement changes to all three campuses amid a projected enrollment increase over the next 10 years with its new campus master plan.

The plan, which aims to facilitate student success, strengthen campus neighborhoods and enhances campus visibility, was approved during a May 25 Texas State University System Board of Regents meeting."

I dunno, I really think Huntsville is pushing "other Houston neighborhoods" waaaaay too far.

It's only a matter of time until the series of highway loops encircling Greater Houston spreads that far. Unfortunately, the name "Sam Houston" is already taken by the tollway, so I guess "Piney Woods Parkway" will have to do.

Design development documents for the future Sam Houston State University Health Professions Building were among the items approved by the Texas State University System Board of Regents at their regular quarterly meeting on the SHSU campus on Feb. 22 and 23.

To be located next to the College of Osteopathic Medicine in Conroe, the four-level Health Professions Building will serve as a new home for SHSU’s allied health programs in the core fields of Athletic Training, Dietetics, Physician’s Assistant and Physical Therapy.
