I passed through 99 grand parkway and 1-10 area and was shocked to see such a nice area of town FILLED to the brim with apartment complexes! Huge ones at that. What is going on? This is never a good sign and I loved this area when we lived here. after seeing the news reports of constant crimes and school lock downs in that area plus all these apartments thrown in the mix and more being built I am wondering what this Katy/cinco and flushear area is going to be like in 10 years... There's nowhere decent inside the beloved and magical loop that's even nearly affordable for a lower middle class family. Thus, apartments in the suburbs.
