3040 Post Oak Renovations

Recommended Posts

3040 is on the right, 3000 is in the middle. The new parking garage is behind 3000. They've already demoed half the garage. The new garage will be built there. Rumor has it that the other half will then be torn down and that land will be developed in the future.

I used to have an office at the top of 3000 where the floors are only wide enough for one hallway with offices on either side. It was like a treehouse up there. The sunrises over downtown were beautiful.

Is that the building on the right or left? I've kind of always thought the one on the right had some charm...

I agree with you and to answer your question its the one on the right.

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Common Desk, a Dallas-based coworking firm, has leased 29,093 SF of office space in 3040 Post Oak Boulevard, a Class A office building located just south of the Waterwall Park and the Galleria.

Stream Realty Partners a national real estate services, development, and investment company, represented the landlord, MetLife Investment Management. The addition of Common Desk takes the building to 90 percent leased.

“Common Desk is thrilled to work with an elite institution like MetLife Investment Management for 3040 Post Oak. We’ve enjoyed having the opportunity to join forces with Stream alongside another institutional owner in Dallas, and we’re excited to work closely with them again in Houston,” said Dawson Williams, Head of Real Estate at Common Desk.

Within 18 months of being awarded the leasing and management of 3040 Post Oak, Stream has executed a total of 132,906 SF of leases or agreements on behalf of MetLife Investment Management and the firm’s clients.

“MetLife Investment Management truly understands how to get buildings leased in a competitive market, and as a result, we’ve been able to bring this building to full occupancy in a very short time frame,” said Volz, Vice President at Stream.
