Houston Traffic Accident Video

Found some KHOU film of an accident in 1963, edited and put it to music.

Was trying to figure out where this took place. There's a large, unique looking building in the background from 1:08 to 1:11 on the video. Anyone recognize it?

I think there are two different locations in the clip.  The first one seems more rural.

 

The later part of the video looks like the 2nd Jeff Davis Hospital on W. Dallas to me.  And that road with the center barrier looks like Allen Parkway.

Anybody have any idea who the reporter was?  He's seen briefly 17 seconds into the video interviewing a police officer. I was around Houston in 1963 and I watched KHOU a lot, but I cannot put a name on that face.

What police agency was involved? I saw what appeared to be HPD but the police car didn't look ANYTHING like HPD...as a matter of fact, I don't recall any police agency in Harris County that looked like that car.

my money is on the 63 Rambler as cause of the accident. I went through the passenger side windshield of one in 1965 b/c it's brakes went out. 6 months before that a friend of mine also went through the passenger side windshield of one b/c...the brakes went out

 

that 2nd scene is probably JD Hospital on Allen Pkwy (maybe still called Buffalo Drive then but I don't remember).
