Is there a Farmer's Market downtown on the weekends or a place where people sell stuff they make in stands?

There is one on Wednesdays, morning through lunchtime, at City Hall.  It's seasonal, though - it's not run during the winter or the height of summer.

Dallas seems to do alright with their "Farmers Market District" and I think the area is even thriving atm with lots of new apartments, ect. I always thought if nothing came of the Post Office site a new market district like that could be developed there. I'm not sure where else around downtown something of that style and scale could be developed. The northeast and southeast sectors are still too seedy for street vending IMO. Though we'll see how that plays out with the new residential in both areas.

Maybe one or two more - the tenant floors start with #12.  The break will be easy to see, since the slabs will be placed a bit further apart in the tenant space in order to accommodate 10' finished ceilings.

Awesome shots as always! This along with BG Group Shell Oil will have such a massive presence from the north and south views. From the east & west south/west it will peer over as a thin bright addition. Is it 2017 yet?

Had to correct this due to a news item in today's Bloomberg...

Someone who has construction knowledge can you please answer this. In the webcam I can see these, what look to be massive metal plates they put down before they pour the concrete. Are these just there to support the concrete in the laying down/pouring or are they like massive re-bar?

I think those are forms that dictate the shape of the concrete.

But I don't have any actual knowledge of construction, so you might ought to wait for another answer.

I wondered the same thing. My best guess was that it has something to do with the in-floor re-configurable climate control that this building has.

I have no idea what you're looking at on which camera, but it sounds like you're referring to a cast-in-place form.  They're installed to form the bottom of the pour and removed after a predetermined amount of curing time.

EDIT: ^Yeah, what he said.

^^^ the parking structure, is actually located directly upon the side of the actual tower.  (please reference the renderings / concepts for clarification)  the parking structure, is actually a pretty nice design in itself.
