One rainy Sunday in Frankfurt, Germany

Recommended Posts

not positive, but i think the street is the romerberg. i think the bridge is called the Seufzerbrucke or the bridge of sighs named after the bridge in venice. the building on the left is some part of city hall. there's a ratskeller in there. i've passed that area many times, but i never pay attention to the names of the streets. hope that helps.

It's Bethmanstraße, just past Paulsplatz. The buildings linked by the Bridge of Sighs are both portions of city hall, known as the Romer.

The last picture is a spigot on a statue in the park called Taunusanlage.

Nice. I have never been to Frankfurt even though I have connected at it many times.

It's OK. In Germany I've only been to Frankfurt and Berlin, and I far prefer Berlin. Frankfurt is more dirty and less German than Berlin. But it's not without its good points.
