According to Montgomery Central Appraisal District records, Bryan D. Poage, of Enid, Oklahoma purchased the land on FM 3083 which is directly behind the proposed TEXCON injection well site. Lori Ferris was the owner of the land and sold it on April 9, 2012. Poage has not returned phone calls this morning. It has not been determined as of yet if this land will tie into the TXCOM but county officials say it is too much of a coincidence that someone from outside the state buy this land directly behind the site.

After the TCEQ three member panel decided against not just the county governments not wanting the site but the hundreds of residents the site was approved. That approval allows TEXCOM to inject up to 12,000 barrels of hazardous wastewater from outside the Montgomery County area every day for the next 30 years. That equates into over sixty trucks a day.

TXDOT then became involved by not granting access to FM 3083 as the entrance to the site was not wide enough. They also stated TEXCOM’s access management plan was insufficient to handle the heavy traffic. With the sale of this land and if this is used for an entrance it will be almost four times as wide as the original entrance.

As of this morning crews have moved onto the property and started to clear it. Signs have been placed along FM 3083 warning of roadwork ahead and culvert pipes are being installed along FM 3083.

According to TXDOT the permit for the culvert pipes was issued as the land owner requested he needed access to his business.
