I walked to lunch, passed a white jeep on the way out, 20 minutes later walking back, white jeep had moved about 30 feet.I told my mom to get here around 5, I'm going to tell her to plan on arriving around 3:30, if traffic hasn't calmed down, park in walking distance, and I'll meet her and we'll hoof it. I like to imagine Maverick was sitting in the pilots seat asking to do a flyby, and the guy drinking coffee in the tower spills it all over himself when they buzzed the tower... and one on the ground.. I took some pics of the distance I had to walk (Scarsdale @ HW3) to the place and I still beat the vehicles stuck on the highway. I tired....here's some photos. Fought the traffic, parked at least a mile a way on Hwy 3, and trekked across those fields with hundreds of other people. Crazy scene. Both pleasantly and unpleasantly surprised it was so popular!
