BARC Adoption Olympics

this Saturday, August 4, 2012!

BARC Animal Shelter and Adoptions is holding a mega adoption event from noon - 6 p.m., this Saturday, August 4, 2012 at BARC, 3200 Carr Street, Houston 77026, to kick off the ASPCA Rachael Ray $100K Challenge in Houston. Opening Ceremonies, Adoption Partner Parade and Torchlight Ceremony begin at 1 p.m.

At the Adoption Olympics hundreds of pets will be available at a reduced adoption fee,

$20 dogs/puppies and $10 cats/kittens.

50 shelters across the nation are each working to save at least 300 more lives between August 1 and October 31, 2012 than they did during the same months in 2011. The shelter that saves the most lives compared to their 2011 total, wins the ASPCA Rachael Ray $100K Challenge!

BARC's pet adoption goal is 2,100 before October 31, 2012.

That's 700 pets adopted per month.

Help BARC start off strong by adopting

THIS WEEKEND.
