Golyadkin
Apparently the old Art Institute building on Yorktown is going to be demolished to make way from some midrise apartments:http://blog.chron.com/primeproperty/2012/07/old-art-institute-building-to-be-razed-for-luxury-apartments/
LTAWACS
Just saw the photo of it. Repulsive. It's 6 stories now... let's hope that these so-called "upscale" apartments are taller than that.
j_cuevas713
Yea I actually attend the Art Institute, the new building off of 59 is way nicer. I trust Finger will develop something rather nice, especially in that area.
lockmat
It's amazing they've left this last part standing. You can hear the hanging metal parts creaking in the wind. It's pretty cool.
tangledwoods
The demolition of the old art institute building is almost complete. They now have a website up for the new apartments. It looks to be 7 or 8 stories. www.1900yorktown.com

Urbannizer
Any pics of how this one turned out?
Luminare
So didn't even know this one existed! I was on Yorktown a week ago to go to the Dentist and then boom there was this copy of Susanne (that one new building on W. Alabama and Dunlavy). Its pretty much done from what I could see (sorry no pics). Its fully landscaped and everything. If there is anymore work being done on this one its probably minor work or they are still doing interiors.
