Louis Curtiss was an early 20th-century architect based in Kansas City who had various designs transformed into homes and commercial buildings throughout the Midwest. A few of his designs became reality here in Texas: Tarrant County Courthouse (Ft. Worth), four depots for the Santa Fe Railway--two of which survive at Post and Snyder TX), and the Casa Ricardo hotel in Kingsville TX.
