Did any of my pictures post? I thought they would but i can't tell from work.

Anyway, I found City West Place 7, too. I am not sure how many of these buildings already exist since I never go here. Can anyone else say? http://showcase.com/...G3mZrnun1gcyiq4

I found building 6, too: http://showcase.com/...qO+s/3qEObk/TiY

They could have started a mini business district had they planned this out better with a street-grid etc. I guess they did not want to sacrafice the greens and it's cheaper to build garages next door instead of underneath the building?

On their renderings a major street is referred to as "Westheimer Blvd".

Does Westheimer Road change names at some point, or is this ignorance/affectation on the part of the developer?

There is already a Westheimer Dr, a Westheimer Ct, a Westheimer Way, and a Westheimer Pkwy. Why not a Westheimer Blvd?

Any guesses as to what they might have been thinking when they planned out the site plan? It's very underwhelming from a brochure point of view.

Did they even care?

Think about the programming on a Clear Channel radio station. The whole point is to never play a song that won't make you turn the dial...which is to say, it has to be familiar and inoffensive. It's the same thing with speculative suburban office buildings; make it highly functional and inoffensive.

Why not, indeed; except that's not the name of the thoroughfare in question. It's Westheimer Road.

Well, I kind of like the buildings themselves, but I get what you're saying about the layout; I agree. I mean, I'm not asking for anything earth shattering new or fancy, just a little more thought and effort. Oh well, it'll look nice driving by on the Beltway, which is I guess is all you really want for a suburban development with no potential for pedestrian activity.

Oh, ok. Well if they mislabeled a thoroughfare, that was no doubt an error on someone's part. Nobody cares.

I'm sure each building will have a nice little deli/sundries shop. No need to walk around outside.
