Time is almost up to find a new owner for this extraordinary mid-century modern house by architects MacKie & Kamrath. The owner needs to sell it immediately and the only offers are from people interested in the land. The house is situated on a ravine near Kirby Drive and South Shepherd Drive. Several of Houston's most spectacular examples of mid-century modern architecture can be found on Tiel Way. The house is open for touring today from 2-4 PM. 59 Tiel Way Houston, Texas 77019 River Oaks, Section 12 This fabulous mid-century modern one of a kind house was designed following the concepts of Frank Lloyd Wright. It has three bedrooms, four full bathrooms plus two half bathrooms, three wood burning fireplaces, stone floors, and an attached two car garage. It has an extensive amount of built in furniture and storage in mostly original condition. The house was damaged by Hurricane Ike and is in need of repair.
