TJones
Don't really have a problem with the DA's new policy......if that is how they want to roll. But, will the DA's office ALSO Tweet a retraction if the person arrested under suspicion of DWI is found NOT GUILTY or the charges against them are dropped ? HTX
I think there is a problem with tweeting that someone is "charged." I would be less concerned if they just tweeted who was convicted.
mkultra25
It is not illegal to drink and drive. It is illegal to drive while legally intoxicated. The distinction between those two statements is something that law enforcement has done its damnedest to erase over the past couple of decades.
