LTAWACS
Sounds good. Seems a little expensive but something to serve those residents is a good thing.
Highrise Tower
https://www.bizjournals.com/houston/news/2019/11/08/major-houston-hospital-system-plans-250m-woodlands.html?iana=hpmvp_hstn_news_headline Quote Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center is launching a $250 million expansion project that will add a new eight-floor tower. The 332,510-square-foot South Tower will include new registration, waiting and observation areas; six new operating rooms; endoscopy services; a post-acute care unit; a conference center; a 36-bed patient care unit; an intensive care unit; three shelled floors for future patient growth; and other features, according to a Nov. 8 press release. Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center currently has 397 licensed beds but could house as many as 535 beds following the expansion. Josh Urban, senior vice president and CEO of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center and Memorial Hermann Northeast, told the Houston Business Journal that the South Tower is expected to break ground in the spring of 2020. Following the completion of the new tower, Memorial Hermann The Woodlands will renovate and expand some 144,120 square feet of the hospital's current facilities, including food services, imaging, surgery support, pharmacy services and more. Urban said that as the populations of north Houston and Montgomery County continue to grow, the hospital expansion is needed to keep up with increasing demand for health care services. The medical center already employs more than 2,600 people, according to the release — but Urban anticipates hiring "several hundred" more to fill out the expanded facilities.
