NThomas
UT Co-op opening store in DallasMay 12, 2009Dallas Business JournalFull ArticleUniversity Co-op, the official retailer of University of Texas apparel and merchandise, is opening its third store outside of Austin, this time in Dallas. The Co-op has signed a lease for 6,000 square feet at The Lincoln Park Shopping Center on the southwest corner of Northwest Highway and Central Expressway in Dallas, just across from Northpark Mall. The store is slated to open in August.Officials with the Co-op say the Dallas store was a natural progression after the opening of the first two stores outside of Austin in San Antonio and Houston. The response to those two locations has been overwhelming, they say.The Dallas store will carry mens', womens' and childrens' Longhorn clothing and souvenirs, including many items exclusive to the Co-op.
