Located in The Allen mixed-use development, Maven aims to open in November (at least that's what's indicated on Maven's website and social media). Building permits lists the address for Maven as 1711 Allen Parkway Floor 1. However, the address on Thompson Houston's website lists 1701 Allen Parkway. https://www.chron.com/food/article/astros-mccullers-coffee-cocktails-18257984.php https://mavencoffeecompany.com https://www.instagram.com/mavenhouston/ CultureMap has a few additional details about Maven ( Maven Coffee + Cocktails / Maven Coffee Co.) in an article published earlier today: Maven’s location at the Thompson Hotel will be located on the first floor. It will serve coffee, pastries, and cocktails to both hotel guests and locals. https://houston.culturemap.com/news/restaurants-bars/maven-coffee-cocktails-locations-lance-mccullers/ As previously mentioned, Maven is a coffee shop and cafe located in the lobby of The Thompson Hotel / The Thompson Houston. The coffee shop is a joint venture between Houston Astros pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. and Juan Carlos Martinez de Aldecoa (Eximus Coffee). Building permits lists the address for Maven as 1711 Allen Parkway Floor 1. However, the address on Thompson Houston's website lists 1701 Allen Parkway. Their website details the color palette and other design features. Maven is located in the lobby of The Thompson Hotel / The Thompson Houston. The coffee shop and cafe's address is either 1711 Allen Parkway Floor 1, 1701 Allen Parkway, or 1717 Allen Parkway. ...We were asked to refresh the style of the project focusing on a warm, homey and close concept, since it would be located inside a hotel. Considering these parameters, we integrated a peaceful color palette, mainly influenced by terracotta and beige tones. These shades create an attractive contrast with the blue used as an accent in the bar and ceiling area. One of the main challenges we faced was to strategically plan this coffee bar to also function as the hotel lobby. Therefore, we designed the proposal taking into account the main accesses, dynamic circulation for guests and harmony with structural elements, such as the escalators. Among the most outstanding elements of the café is the incorporation of an all-glass bar. This bar takes advantage of the natural lighting from the large windows to generate a greater sense of spaciousness in the space. In addition, we used Vibia’s Palma pendant light fixture, which not only offers maximum light efficiency, but also complements the natural vibe through the use of plants. https://dg-int.com/project/maven-allen/ Edited November 3 by IntheKnowHouston

Yonkers
I was told that the Residence is around 84% sold now with TCO for floors 16-24 and moving on up. More than a dozen closings have happened with a handful of residents actually living onsite now.
LosFeliz
84% at those prices prove that there is demand for high end housing attached to hotel brands for the amenities. Let's hope this leads to a few more of these sprinkled between downtown and uptown.
