So far, its bet appears to be paying off: Just 20 units are left for sale despite the headwinds of a slower real estate market. Residents are expected to start moving in this fall."

LosFeliz
That penthouse is really cool but practically speaking, you're gonna need a lot of drapes and thousands a month to keep the place under 80 degrees in the summer months.

Im pretty sure the building is going to be well insulated. I don't think it's they used regular glass windows for the building. Think of the buildings in UAE, Qatar, Saudi, etc, where temps can reach 120 degrees, these buildings aren't made with average glass.
79ta
Can confirm what @Amlaham said about the glass in the Middle East. I saw Tom Cruise climb the Burj Khalifa in MI – Ghost Protocol... 1

We live in a south/west facing high rise, with floor to ceiling windows. It's not bad at all. Proper glass makes a huge difference. 7

I was told that eventually an acre of that parking lot be converted into a green space/park that sits between the current pavilion and the future mixed-use that will be built in the back where the sales center is currently.
BEES?!
Interesting! Green space is always a nice addition! :) Hopefully they can move on to Phase II. The HAIF Penthouse notwithstanding, I wonder how sales are going here?

I've seen vehicles go in and out, but they still had some cones semi-blocking the entrance, so I don't know if it's really officially open or not.

Named Maven / Maven Coffee Co., the coffee shop and cafe will be located in the lobby of the hotel. It's one of several food and beverage options opening in the hotel. The coffee shop is from Houston Astros pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. and Juan Carlos Martinez de Aldecoa (Eximus Coffee). Located in The Allen mixed-use development, Maven aims to open in November (at least that's what's indicated on Maven's website and social media).
