Highway6
my parent's first apartment when they got married was on this little stretch of lawndale..i lived in one of those dozen units till 3ish..i can remember the neighbor was a latter day saint or something.. they were called Elders.. and his name was Berry. I obviously didnt get the joke at the time, but i could remember the neighbor and his bike in the hall at the top of the stairs... I can also distinctly remember the imaginary red line into the kitchen that i would get spanked by my parents if i crossed.

You can see them @ http://www.flickr.com/photos/38070996@N04/...ith/3500828443/It's a cute apartment, but $700 seems like a bit much. The first digit needs to be a six. sheeats
Oy, the deposit is a bit high. And no pets? Very, very, very people have NO pets these days. Not even a cat or a tiny, house-broken dog? That's going to limit the pool significantly... *sigh*

crunchtastic
Pets are an added - and unneeded - expense and liability. so are men, but that doesn't stop us from keeping them around the house. Back on topic, to me the biggest drawback to this place is that it's right on Lawndale.
kylejack
Pets are an added - and unneeded - expense and liability.Well if its been on the market since May, maybe its a needed liability. Anyway, that's what a pet deposit is for.

Back on topic, to me the biggest drawback to this place is that it's right on Lawndale. Why is that? Are you afraid that once you move in you would find the place too noisy and distracting? I myself prefer peace and quiet.

I can't imagine that things haven't gotten better since.I had a friend who live on lawndale in one of these...the parking is horrible and narrow. Some of the other buildings in the area have gone to hell. ( i'm not talking about the OP's ad/unit)
LTAWACS
I do like the houses in the neighborhood behind it though. Not too bad.
