Highway6
This started out as a small project. As someone not familiar with the local public school systems, I wanted to be able to see which schools particular HAR listings were zoned to as I browsed potential future homes or pieces of land. What started out as just the areas of HISD relevant to my searches, grew to all of HISD.. which grew to all of Harris County plus Ft. Bend ISD. So for anyone else interested, the maps can be found here I had to break it down to 4 different maps since Google has a limit on how many objects can be shown at 1 time. However, if you save each of the 4 to "My Maps", you can toggle all into view at the same time. Disclaimer: Some of the maps may not be 100% accurate since I was relying on source maps that may not be 100% up to date.. Also, a few districts didn't have school zone breakdowns, so just the districts are showing for now.
VicMan
That's really cool! It's very useful to see which high schools have which boundaries:Pasadena ISD has its high school zone maps here: http://www.pasadenaisd.org/pages/HighSchools.pdfPearland ISD has its high school zone maps here: http://www.pearlandisd.org/files/filesyste...ool_zoning1.pdfAlief ISD has no high school boundaries, as it has a lottery to determine high school assignmentsNorth Forest ISD has one high school
Highway6
You the man Vic. Pearland and Pasadena have been fixed. I assume they will automatically update for whomever views it. Only major one i'm missing now is Humble ISD.. but i'm almost a little reluctant because I'm near the threshold of spilling over to a new page.. and I dont know if it can take 4 more areas. Those Alvin districts are monsterous. plumber2
Highway6, I have one correction that I noticed right away. There is no Clear Lake ISD. Clear Lake is just one of the high schools located in Clear Creek ISD. A forgivable mistake. Otherwise, "Great Job"

Highway6
I found this link on Uptown's Wiki page.http://web.archive.org/web/20050509100740/...leehs/home2.htmIt's archived from 2003, i believe, and states that residents zoned to Lee HS have the option of attending Lamar or Westside. Was this temporary or is this current? Is this normal to have certain zones have options like this ? Are there other areas like this ?I assume this is a result of the wealthy residents wanting their kids to have better options besides Lee.
