IronTiger 913
So recently I had a cool idea that involved Houston...and I came up with a project called The Galleria Map Project. Basically, my plan is to take the existing The Galleria lease plans (http://www.simon.com/about_simon/leasing/LocalMall.aspx?id=805), blank the existing stores, and fill in the stores I...and others...remember. Unfortunately, this is only in the planning stages and I don't have the right program to handle everything. I mean, it would certainly be a cool project if it were to be done, and...I guess I could post answers to any Q&A.
Captain Impossible 4
Yeah, cool project! Someone else beat you to it though. It's called the store directory.
editor 989
Yeah, cool project! Someone else beat you to it though. It's called the store directory.I think Iron Tiger is talking about historic stores.. Like there would be a 70's map and an 80's map and a 90's map.
Highway6 379
I'm 99% sure there used to be a International House of Bagpipes Haggis where Dillards now stands...... Map It !!!! Edited February 5, 2009 by Highway6
Pumapayam 133
I think Iron Tiger is talking about historic stores.. Like there would be a 70's map and an 80's map and a 90's map. What about all the renovations and expansion, it just would not be as easy as one thinks.
IronTiger 913
Specifically, kind of like this, except non-Flash. Or something.http://74.220.215.244/~syracus4/penncaninteractivemaps.htm
kylejack 875
It would be a mess, because it would be hard to remember exactly when a slot changed, not to mention that the slots sometimes change sizes as slots are merged or divided.

Simbha 66
I was interested in this thread when it first started, so I'm bumping it to see if there's been any progress on this project...
GBryant 4
Do you have a plan for sourcing the pictures? I've never been able to find much online.
Kasper 10
Several friends & I worked at various stores in the Galleria between 1988 & 1992, haven't seen its layout in years but can remember many store locations from that era if this project ever materializes.
