Montrose1100
Beautiful Pictures, San Antonio has great examples of beautiful architecture. They sure hit big in the 20s and 30s. The 4th picture down is my favorite, I would love to live there. Shame Houston's waters are brown and ugly.

Montrose1100
Very beautiful Mancuso, its a shame... If you can take such beautiful pictures of other places, I would imagine your "Houston Set" would be awesome!
111486
I like this pic. San Antone's downtown is urban as hell. With nothing but history. I like it. I don't know if I would live there, but I sure would take the 4 hour drive specifically for the Mexican food and the attractions downtown. Great pics. ChrisW
Those are great pictures, here are a few more. My favorite thing about the Riverwalk is that every connection between street and river level was *designed* rather than engineered.
Vertigo58
Opposed to starting a new pics topic I will just add on here. On a recent weekend visit to SA you must go to this very "touristy" but fun, fun, fun restaurant in the Market area. Mi Tierra Cafe & Panaderia 218 Produce Row www.mitierracafe.com I had to snap some interior pics. The place is growing as it gets packed, very festive atmosphere too. here are some good close-ups of some serious traditional costume of famous past celebrities well known in Texas and beyond. Check out the fine detail, not one is identical! The decor is like being in a western film, real cool!
