The bills joined one already filed that would require the state environmental agency to review how it permits the release of toxic air pollution.RADIOACTIVE WASTE. The state approved a request by Dallas-based Waste Control Specialists to expand the volume of low-level radioactive waste it can store at its plant in Andrews County. Now the plant can accept tons of radioactive waste currently stored in concrete silos near Cincinnati.INCIDENT LOG. A dozen industrial plants in the Houston area reported accidental releases of pollution during the last week.
