H-Town Man
Since we are paused for Musicman to return.. I shall fill the empty space not with trivia, but a Houston math problem.Car A and Car B are heading down 45 from Conroe. When they arrive at the loop (at the same time), Car A heads West at 50 mph and Car B heads East at 77 mph. There is no traffic or weather to slow either car down, but Car A does lose exactly 5 minutes along the way when he stops for gas.How long till they meet up again and at what closest major intersection ?It will take about 19 minutes and 54 seconds and they will end up a little bit south of the West Loop/Southwest Fwy interchange, near where Sycamore St. hits the West Loop. This is assuming that they do it at about 3 AM though, otherwise it will probably take them more like an hour and they will meet up somewhere around Westheimer.
