Ctaf
Sorry I'm distracted, but is that the look the Astoria settled on? On topic, is Willie G's going on one of those parking lots?
KinkaidAlum
The Astoria is proof that bad taste can even get worse.
cloud713
it doesn't look too bad driving south on 610 around the Uptown Park area, looking at it at a corner view so it doesn't look as bulky. but yeah.. definitely not coming out as nice as the renderings. hopefully that doesn't happen with Arabella. TexasGeneral
Hopefully this building will obscure some of the views of the Astoria.

Willie G's should be on a lot to the south of the Rolls Royce/Bentley dealership.

Imnhouston
Davis lit up the "A" on the top of Astoria last night. Diamond is still dark. Wonder when that will fire up?

brijonmang
Jeez man, what kind of camera do you use?? It's actually a fairly entry level DSLR...Nikon D5500. What do I have to do to get on top of one of your cranes?? That would be some fun. Probably just a regular ol' "Point, Click, and Shoot," but don't worry, he's always got his license on him. brijonmang
What did you set your shutter speed to and for how long? GREAT SHOT! Thank you, sir. Shutter speed was 5 seconds, aperture was at f/5 and it was an 85mm lens so that was the focal length.

H-Town Man
Thank you, sir. Shutter speed was 5 seconds, aperture was at f/5 and it was an 85mm lens so that was the focal length. Fixed focal length? I guess that explains some of the sharpness and lack of distortion.

That would be some fun.Go at night when the cranes aren't working, there's nothing stopping you from climbing that ladder all the way to the top, except maybe some paul blart on the ground, but most of the time it's pretty easy.Edit: I am not serious and am not suggesting that you do anything illegal that may result in incarceration, physical harm or even death.
