Looks like a lot of activity on the South side of the project.  She's going to be a lot larger than we thought.  Plenty of room for slots and gaming tables after all.

Are all of these gambling references a joke or did some new laws get passed without me hearing about it?

That's the four story ballroom / showroom that's attached.

Second crane going up today. Same place as the gray crane but this one is yellow.

Well... Paint me Mercury and call me the Spirit of Houston.

Navi & Kink your math isn't sound. 502'9" would be the official height. I'm not Brijonmang. Sorry buddy, you liked their comments.

She's officially a high-rise.  Twelfth floor poured and 13th 14th formwork underway.  Things should be going faster with typical floor plates now.

if yall dont mind im going to update the height of this building on skyscraper center

(while im at it, im also gonna attempt to update the methodist outpatient care center (which should hate the same tip height as architectural height)

also, the skyscraper center has us at 34 completed 150m+ on the page, but when you click on the list, it only displays 33 (ive noticed many of this sort of mistake on this webiste)

edit: :( both submissions were declined

i retried and it was rejected again (because apparently ' Emporis is not a reliable source for building heights. ' )

but i did manage to change the status of the market square tower

Funny how we have two buildings going up with similarly sliced tops.

Does anyone know what the steel frame in the bottom of this picture is for? In the renderings for the site, this area is a parking lot.

Looks like some sort of armature for a facade mock-up. The tower is pre-cast concrete, but the podium is stone I think.

It looks like a drive in movie screen - of course it's too bright in uptown for that but it'd be cool to watch a movie with high rises in the background
