J.A.S.O.N.
Strand merchants cracking down on street perfomers... http://blogs.galvnews.com/blog.lasso?blog=492c15d24cd4b8b2I have to admit that I am angry about this. I have NEVER been solicited by the artists or musicians. You either toss them a dollar or you don't. They do not harass you. I'm really having a hard time figuring out this council's "vision" for Galveston. Why must EVERYTHING be an obsticle here? This town sometimes..... UGHHHHH!!!! MidtownCoog
Yep. The old lady who plays the violin was featured in The Islander. She's harmless, but the lady who owns the Monkey store doesn't think so.

MidtownCoog
The problem is with the fool who own those shops. Most are posers from Houston, and very few, if any, are BOI.
TJones
Obviously none of these shop owners have ever been to Key West or New Orleans.

I had a client in a different county that received various legal threats from them because they had similar names for businesses. I belive my girl had a DBA that preceded the Galveston one, even though the Gal store might have been open sooner???
