Moose Posted September 14, 2007 Share Posted September 14, 2007 On Saturday October, 13th, there will be a No Holds Barred Chili Cook-Off at The Shady Tavern (1206 W. 20th St., 77008). There will be some laid back live music Saturday during the day. Entry into the chili area will be via a $5 donation that gets you a bowl to taste all the chili and a vote for you to pick your favorite. The winner will be the team that receives the most votes from the general public.On Friday October 12th, we'll be having a team dinner and party. If anyone is interested in forming a team, send me a message and I'll give you the details. No Holds Barred means exactly that: beans or no beans, red or green, re-warmed or made on site.
