Vertigo58
Some or most of you may recall the PBS series on Building Big. There was a good story on this particular skyscraper in NYC. It seems the skyscraper's bolted joints were too weak to withstand 70-mile-per-hour wind gusts. It was just mind boggling to see how such an important feature was overlooked but later corrected. It would be great if they reran this program/subject. It was very interesting. Now available on DVD. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/buildingbig/wonder...e/citicorp.html
