fernz
A while back I read an article about a proposal from White to grant a city tax waiver to buildings designated as historic landmarks. This was above and beyond the 15 year tax abatement for renovation oh historic properties; this was a "no property taxes for historic buildings" waiver, except for single family houses. The idea was that it would create an incentive to preserve the buildings.Does anyone have any current info on this? Was it ever debated at City Council?
