houstonmacbro Posted April 15, 2007 Share Posted April 15, 2007 You literally cannot make this stuff up.***MANKATO, Minn. -- A guard at the Blue Earth County Jail in Minnesota is suspended after allegedly thumping an inmate with a Bible.James Lee Sheppard is charged with two gross misdemeanors for allegedly swatting an inmate with the book, grabbing him by the throat and slamming him against steel bars in February.A video recording shows Sheppard entering the cell of inmate Jeremy Hansen, taking Hansen's Bible and striking him in the side of the face with the book.Click here to find out more!Blue Earth County Administrator Dennis McCoy said the alleged beating was first reported by Sheppard.Sheppard declined comment.
