Rumor on the street is that Cameron acquired 25 acres from Apache. I believe this location is the former Dow Chemical HQ at 400 West Sam Houston Parkway. They have real estate all over the city, particularly in Westway Park. This must be a large consolidation for them. Apparently going to include over 1 million square feet of office. Patrinely will develop it for Cameron...you have to believe the architect will be Gensler. Same team currently developing Southwestern Energy's new HQ in Springwoods Village. How many energy companies are left to build new campuses for?

Hi, A family member is considering contracting with a property manager to lease out their current home (gated, 2 story Tudor, 1 acre lot etc) with easy access to the energy corridor. Suggestions on which companies to go to - or to avoid? Also, what are the tax implications (property tax, etc) since this is currently a principal residence? (The person will be travelling for a while without any other principal residence). Thanks in advance! -

Drove by today and they've painted on the window that they open this Friday, July 29th, at 8am. New store is in front of Westchase Kohl's. Interestingly, in the same parking lot in front of the new Trader Joe's, a Beer Nation sign has gone up on the old Harvest Organic Grill. -

This will be a nice addition to that part of Briarpark, the Westchase District's "scenic boulevard." Nothing else on that side of the street between Richmond and Westpark is over two stories, and all the buildings are at least 25 years old. That's the Schlumberger campus across the street; their grounds are very well maintained, it looks like a golf course. The building just to the north of the one that's being torn down is the headquarters for the US Professional Tennis Association, those are two tennis courts behind and just to the north of their building. This is my neighborhood, I know it well. I like to take walks, and the commercial properties and streets are so well maintained in that area it's like walking through a park.

There is a foundation poured in the lot next to my office that has been sitting idle for over 5 years. I assume its a hotel. Over the past few months and especially past few weeks work has started to progress. Here is a picture from earlier today. Any idea which hotel this will be? Southeast corner of Harwin and Rogerdale on the southbound feeder for BW8.

Hey guys and gals, This is Cass. How is everyone doing? As you know, I work around zip 77077, is that called Westchase? I am looking to move into a nice, new or newer apartment community around this area or around I-10 and the Beltway. I was told there are a lot of new developments along Eldridge parkway? as well as along I-10 and the Beltway I do not mind paying a premium rent for a nice apartment, neighborhood, service and sane neighbors. A safe neighborhood is important. Features such as attached garages are welcome, or even a townhome! I have no pets and have a stable income, good credit, clean leasing history, etc. Any suggestions please? Thank you!! Cass

Millennium Tower I: Office At 10375 Richmond Ave.

what's the story with the millenium tower building at the corner of richmond and beltway 8. i live in westchase and have always liked its distinctive crown (kinda like a half tube) and the silver and dark bands. it is almost like a miniature william's tower that anchors this end of the city. -
