  2. http://theleadernews.com/danna-buys-3-acres-on-34th-street-for-stomping-grounds/
  3. Oden Hughes/OHT Partners is developing a new apartment building in The Heights at 333 W. 24th Street. A Plan Review permit was pulled yesterday.
  4. I noticed we did not have this development so I wanted to add it. https://guefen.com/property/?propertyid=residences-at-fannin-station
  5. NRP Group project. Architect -http://www.sdcarchitects.com
  6. There are CBRE signs up at the Bethel Church at 1107 Shepherd, or the block bounded by Shepherd, Durham, Center and Nett. This might create difficulty for the restaurant formerly known as Floyd's, since they use the church parking lot for their customers. 7. This is the large double-block bounded by Nicholson, Rutland, 25th and 26th, as well as the block bounded by Ashland, Rutland, 24th and 25th. In the last week or so, a trailer has been deposited on this land, on the 26th St side, right across from Ashland St, and the big for sale sign has come down. Any news on what might be happening here? There's currently a LOT of residential construction going on within 3-4 blocks of this site.
  8. A recent community impact article mentions some possible developments for the old TI land...let's just say I know something about this and an verify some things going on over there... I was never here[ninja]
  9. Could be lots of activity coming soon to Post Oak Park Dr. an entity dubbed Finger-EPCO Briar Hollow, LLC plans to demolish the Tree Tops at Post Oak for a new complex. SubdivisionPlatPDF_BG3482.pdf
  10. I just heard from a co-worker that all 112 units have been sold to a foreign investor. It's approximately 3.5 acres and it will be highrises. I don't know how to add a photo or I would. The last MLS sale in there was www.har.com/44634356. The homeowners have 60 days to move out.
  11. I haven't been able to dig up a rendering, but it looks like a new complex is going up at 8700 Main St. I saw "Haven at Main St" referenced in the latest planning commission meeting and a building permit was issued for a new parking garage yesterday Buyer for permit was Troy Bell of the Guefen Companies - they apparently specialize in multifamily properties. Judging by their project list they mainly do garden style apartments but this tract is only 3.4 acres Edit: Guess it is just a "plan review fee", not a building permit
  12. Couldn't find any info about this. Location is on OST near Almeda. Next door to The Equinox. IMG_0713 by Not.Larry.Dierker, on Flickr IMG_0715 by Not.Larry.Dierker, on Flickr
  13. No precast garage here. http://www.connellrealty.com/portfolio/under-development/texas/domain-west-houston
  14. Well, I'm undercontract, again!! Does anyone know the real status of The Royalton (aka "3333 The View") conversion from apartments to condominiums? We've been under contract for 2 months now waiting for a closing date. Our first contract was at the Shamrock Towers. We refuse to the Galleria area to buy into a high-rise condo!
  15. Houston developer Sandy Aron is set to pay $6.1 million for Vargo's Restaurant, which he plans to tear down and replace with a 312-unit apartment complex called Vargo's on the Lake. Construction of Vargo's on the Lake is anticipated to start by the end of the year... "It will be top shelf," he said. Stanford Steinberg with Houston-based Steinberg Design Collaborative LLP, designer of the high-rise resident tower at 3333 Allen Parkway, has been tapped as architect for the Vargo's project. 16. I noticed some four or five story apartments going up at this intersection several months ago, but haven't read anything about it personally. Does anyone know if this is the same complex and/or if construction is complete? http://www.broadstonememorialapartments.com/
