    MLS’ Columbus Crew seem intent on moving to Austin in time for 2019 season. While it was stated move would occur “if a stadium deal couldn’t be reached in Columbus,” owner Anthony Precourt has already conducted negotiations with Austin officials, surveyed the market, trademarked names (Austin FC & Austin Athletic), hired PR firms locally and begun a social media campaign aimed at the Austin market (mls2atx.com).
